Early Help:

The Early Help Assessment (EHA) is a standard assessment used by all practitioners working with children, young people and their families or carers.  The aim is to provide the right support at an early stage before the need increases.

EHA involves listening and working closely with a child, family or young person to find out what help is needed and what is working well in their lives and can be shared between services.  EHA is used nationally and is a key part of working together to support families.

At Kirk Langley Church of England Primary School if we feel that a child requires Early Help, we will discuss this with parents and, together if possible, write a referral.to the Family Support Team.  If the referral is successful, a member of the support team will contact parents and work closely with children, families and school to get the best possible support for the child and family.
