The School Day

The School Day.

The school is open from 8:05 a.m. daily and closes at 5 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and 3:15 p.m. on a Friday this amounts to 42 hours 50 minutes per week

The compulsory school day is 8:55 a.m. to 3 :15 p.m. (32 hours )

Children are welcomed on to the playground each day from 08:40. A parent liaison officer will be available, to take any messages, arrange appointments and record reasons for any late arrivals.

The morning session includes a 10 minute break for all children and all EYFS and Key Stage 1 children have a piece of fruit.  Those children who have registered for free school milk for under-fives also receive their drink during the morning playtime. Children in KS2 are allowed to bring a healthy snack to eat at break times – fresh fruit; dried fruits or vegetables only.  All children should bring a water bottle filled with plain water only.
